There's a new Data Set in Multiple Measures, GPA. Within the GPA data set, there are four columns to choose from:
- Last Rank Date - the last date the rank log was run
- Last Rank Total Earned Credits - the number of credits the last time the rank log was run
-
Last Rank Unweighted GPA - the unweighted GPA the last time the rank log was run
-
Last Rank Weighted GPA - the weighted GPA the last time the rank log was run

NOTES:
1) Users need to be part of a group with access to the SIS Student Transcript Access resource in order to see the GPA data file.
2) The GPA fields in Mx are coming from a file called student rank log. The file is a log of GPAs (and class ranks) as of the last time the class rank was run. The student rank log is generated when a report containing the "Display Class Rank" parameter with a "Yes" value is chosen.
The GPAs displayed in Mx will most likely be stale values when compared to the GPAs shown on the Transcripts tab which is calculated at the time the user clicks on that tab.
Since the GPA data in Mx is a snapshot value from the last time ANY user ran the transcript report with the ranking parameter turned on, it is possible that the data in the report will not be up-to-date.
REPORTS:
Following are the reports that contain a "ranking parameter". A few reports are available in the Reporting tab and one is available in the Transcript tab within a student record.
*Remember, when running a report that includes rank weight, only choose a single grade level, as students are ranked within a single grade level.
