When an OnCourse Assessment assessment is created, administrators have the option of allowing students to view or not view the returned assessment. OnCourse has added a couple of options that affect the way in which students can view a returned assessment. The new options can be seen in the Settings tab.
To access:
- Navigate to OnCourse Assessment
- Create a new of or open an existing assessment
- Click on the Settings tab
- In the Settings tab of an assessment, there are three options:
- Allow Students to View Returned Assessment
- When Returned, Show Questions
- When Returned, Show Responses
The Allow Students to View Returned Assessment box must be set to Yes.
Below are two options: When Returned, Show Questions, and When Returned, Show Responses. Each dropdown determines how each (questions and responses) will be visible to students. There will always be two choices, the way in which the questions will be visible and the way in which the responses will be visible.

- Navigate to OnCourse Assessment
- Choose a class
- Double-click to open the desired assessment
- On the left, at the bottom of the Settings section, is the When Returned area
