The Home Language Survey report consists of five questions and is required by the state. The report is visible directly in the student profile. If you would like to turn this feature on for your district, please contact OnCourse Support and we will get you set up right away.
Access Report:
The Home Language Survey tab is a sub-tab located within the General tab of a student profile.
- Navigate to the People tab
- Open a student profile
- Click on the General tab
- Scroll down to the bottom and click on the new Home Language Survey sub-tab
- Within the tab, you will see five questions
Report Results:
The Results field changes based on the answers to the questions above. There are two possible results; Possible ELL and Not ELL. Simply answer the questions and the Results field will change accordingly.
