This new feature allows districts to bulk update properties for courses. This functionality is accessible in the Courses tab in the new Class Manager.
To do this:
- Click on the Scheduling icon
- Chose Class Manager
- Click on the Courses Tab
- Select the courses you would like to update
- Click on the Bulk Update Courses button
- Choose a Field
- Add a Value if necessary
- Include an Audit Comment
- Select the Update button
- Confirm
- And now the selected field will be updated in all of the selected courses
You are able to update as many courses as you would like, however, if you choose to update the Credits or Cal for GPA fields, you will be limited to updating five courses at a time. Updating for these fields is limited because when these fields are changed, it kicks off a recalculation. The recalculation process taxes the system, so the number of courses that can be updated is limited.
- From the Class Manager, click on the Courses Tab
- Select the courses you would like to update
- Click on the Bulk Update Courses button
- In the Field field, choose Calculate for GPA
- Add a Value
- Include an Audit Comment
- Select the Update button
- Confirm
- You will see an error message asking you to
- "Please limit the number of courses to 5"
- If you get this message you've selected a field that kicks off a recalculation, therefore, only 5 courses can be updated at a time
- Deselect courses so there are only 5 selected
- Repeat Steps 3-8

Districts using the District Course Catalog will see a restricted list of columns/fields that can be updated. Districts using the District Course Catalog should be using the District Course Catalog application to perform these changes.
