If your school is using OnCourse Assessment, you are able to administer assessments throughout your entire district. In order for students to access these assessments, they need to go to www.oncourseconnect.com/test. Here, they enter the Test Code and then either their unique student code or their OnCourse Connect username and password to login.
Teachers could always export a PDF or Excel list of the Test Code paired with each student's unique Student Code. But now, teachers are also able to email this information directly to each student. To do this:
- Select an assessment
- Choose Assessment Access Codes from the Tools menu
- In the new window, select Email Students from the Export/Email Options menu
- You will see a Success message when emails have been sent
*All students must have an email address in the system. If they don't you will receive an error message and will not be able to email access codes to any of the students.
Students will receive an email that looks something like this. They simply need to click on the link in the email and they will be taken directly into the assessment.
