This guide will teach you how to create discipline incidents and dispositions in the Discipline Tracker Mobile App. The steps in this guide are for use with smartphones with supported operating systems (Android 4.0.3 and later / IOS 8.0 and later). Tablet instructions are in another guide.
To access this app, visit the App Store or Google Play Store and search for “OnCourse Discipline Tracker”. Download the app and click on the application icon to open. Log in with your regular OnCourse username and password and you will be taken to the following screen.
Add an Incident
Either type a student’s name in the search area or choose a student from the recently viewed list.
Click the +button (Image 1) and you will be brought to the “Add Incident” screen (Image 2).
Choose the appropriate discipline code (Image 3), and complete the remaining fields. If you have the option to Notify Administration,and you’d like to do so, toggle the switch into the “On” position.
When all necessary information is entered, click Save(Image 4).
When your incident is completed, you may choose to add a “Disposition”, otherwise known as a
disciplinary action or consequence. If so, proceed to the next page.
Navigate to the student profile. Click the three, orange dotsassociated with the incident you wish to edit or delete (Image 1) and you will be brought to this screen (Image 2).
Choosing Edit Incident(Image 1) will open the incident where you can make changes and Save(Image 2).
If you want to delete this incident, click Delete Incident(Image1), and confirm your choice by clicking Delete(Image2).
If you would like to edit or delete a disposition, navigate to the desired disposition, and follow the same steps described above.
Add a Disposition
Make sure you have the associated incident open and click the Dispositions button (Image 1). Any current dispositions created for this incident will appear.
Choose the +button (Image 2).
Choose the appropriate disposition code (Image 3), and continue completing the remaining fields. When all necessary information is entered, click Save (Image 4).
Return to Home Screen and Logout
Click the Back button (Image 1 & 2).
You’ve returned to the home screen, which displays a list of recently viewed students for convenient navigation in the future. To exit the Discipline Tracker, click the Logout button.
