Hide Groups
As you know, to help with differentiation, teachers are able to create groups in OnCourse Classroom. If you've taken advantage of this feature, your class list may be a bit long and unruly. To help you manage your class list, you are now able to hide selected groups.
To do this, right-click on a group name and select Edit.
Uncheck the Active box and Save.
The group name will be removed from the list of classes.
And later, if you want to make the group name visible again, simply click the Gear icon, and select Show Inactive School and District Groups. The group is still inactive, but now it's visible.
To reactivate the group, right-click on the group name and select Edit.
Check the Active box and Save.
Note: You also have the option of deleting a group. However, deleting a group also removes student names from the assignment to which they are associated. Therefore, if you want to remove a group name from the list of classes, it is best to hide rather than delete.
Mark Assignment Exempt
To mark an assignment exempt, teachers just need to put an asterisk in place of a grade.
Then, when the student logs into OnCourse Connect, he/she will see an Exempt label on the assignment.
