We've made two changes to our rubrics:
- Disable rubric cells, so that they can't be graded.
- Create a point multiplier rubric.
Disable Rubric Cells
Sometimes you may want to disable a rubric cell, so it can't be graded. Now this is quite easy to do.
First, create your rubric.
Next, right click on the cell you'd like to disable.
Then select Disable this cell value.
You will know the cell is disabled when it turns gray. Later, when the rubric is being graded, the disabled cell will be grayed out and inaccessible.
Point Multiplier Rubric
Now when you create a rubric you have three scoring choices; scoring by criterion weight, scoring by points, or non-scored. The weighting information can be seen in the far-right column.
You also have the ability to change from scoring by points to scoring by criterion weight at any time. However, no changes can be made to a rubric once a single student has completed an assessment to which the rubric is attached.
