Teachers in grades K-7 use a letter to points-based grading system. Assignments will be given letter grades which will then be automatically converted to a numerical value. For example, if a student receives an A, the system will convert it to a 4. Bs become 3s, Cs become 2s, Ds become 1s, and Fs become 0s.
Now, if an assignment is created in OnCourse Classroom and added to OnCourse Grade Book, grading for that assignment will calculate like grade book assignments. Students will be given letter grades that will be converted to a numerical value. This also holds true in the Assignment Grader.
