District Course Catalog: Search by State ID Number
If your district is using the District Course Catalog, you can now search by state ID number. To narrow your search, just enter the a state ID number in the search field. All courses containing that state ID number will be returned.
Category Manager: Category Sort Order
Now, when you create a new category in the Category Manager, you can include a sort order. The sort order number determines the order in which the categories will appear in teacher grade books.
It can be difficult to find the correct student when multiple students have identical names. To help with this, we've made student local ID numbers visible in different parts of the system. Now, when you're creating a discipline incident, you will see student local ID numbers right next to student names.
Transfer Card Report to Word
You could always export the Student Transfer Card report as a PDF document. But now you have the option of exporting this report to Microsoft Word as well.

On-Premise Information on Live Attendance Grid
This new feature keeps a running record of which students are on school grounds. Office staff and administrators can see this information in the OP column of Active Attendance. This column updates as attendance values are entered into the system. A "Y" indicates that the student is on premise, an "N" means that the student is not on premise, and a "?" indicates that, based on attendance data, the system doesn't know if the student is on premise or not.
You also have the option of viewing this information in an Excel report. Simply click the icon located in the upper-right corner of the screen, and a report will be generated. The On Premise column will be included in this report. Regardless of what's on the screen, the report includes every student in the chosen school who is currently on premise.
On premise information is only visible on the current school day.
Teachers will also see the OP column for their students only, and they are not able to run the report from Grade Book.
Only districts using exception-based attendance will be able to use this feature.
OnCourse also offers an on premise report that can be accessed in the Reporting tab. The report is titled, Student On Premise Report and it can be customized to suit your needs. Choose a school and include on premise (Yes), not on premise (No), or all students (All). There are two sort fields, each containing the same options. Choose from On Premise, Homeroom Teacher, Student First Name, and Student Last Name. Mix and match as you'd like. This report is available to all staff.
Balance Sheet Report for Students Without a Balance
Before you could only run the Student Balance Sheet report for individual students and students with an outstanding balance. Now you are also able to run it for All students.
First, choose the School Year, School, and Grade Level. Then select a single student, All Students with an Outstanding Balance, or All Students.
Selecting All Students with an Outstanding Balance returns records of students who have outstanding fees, therefore they have a balance.
Selecting All Students returns records of students with any fees applied to their account, even if their balance is zero.
Remove Homeless Icon
If a student is homeless and they are marked as such in the system, a homeless icon will appear in their record. If you would like to disable this feature, and hide the icon, please give us a call and we'll take care of it.
