You now have the ability to add notes when you enter a grade exception override. We've also added a new report, Grade Book Overrides Log, that allows you to view grade exception override information.
How Do I Add Notes to a Grade Exception Override?
The Notes field is visible in two places:
- Grade Book Exceptions Column
- Grades Tab in the Student Record
Grade Book Exceptions Column
- Navigate to Grade Book and open a grade book.
- Click the pencil icon
in the Exceptions column for the student for whom you need to enter a grade exception override.
- Choose the appropriate Grade Exception code from the dropdown menu.
- Add a note in the Notes section.
- Save.
Grades Tab in the Student Record
- Navigate to Student Info > People.
- Open a student record and navigate to the Grades tab.
- Click directly on the desired marking period grade, then click the Edit icon
.
- Choose the appropriate Grade Exception code from the dropdown menu.
- Add a note in the Notes section.
- Update.
How Do I Access the Grade Book Overrides Log Report?
Users must have the Grade Override Report resource to access the Grade Book Overrides Log.
- Navigate to the Reports tab.
- Search for Grade Book Overrides Log.
- Open the report.
