An Evidence-Based Selected Response (EBSR) combines a traditional selected-response question with a second selected-response question that asks students to show evidence from an associated text that supports the answer they provided to the first question.
In OnCourse Classroom and Assessment, the EBSR Scoring Type is assigned to an Item. Therefore, the EBSR Scoring Type setting applies to ALL questions that are added to the Item. Later, when students take the assessment, they will need to get the first question or both questions correct to earn any points. Please click HERE for a more detailed explanation of EBSR Scoring.
