It is now possible to edit and rescore a published assessment in OnCourse Classroom even after it has been completed and submitted by students.
This feature is intended to allow edits to designated correct answers to fix authoring errors. Making such edits will trigger a rescore of the assessment for all students, including those for whom manual grades have been entered.
Making changes to anything other than the correct answer for an item may cause rescoring to fail.
We do NOT recommend the following:
- Changing the high score or item points.
- Editing item questions or responses.
- Adding or deleting questions, changing question types, or changing the layout.
For an assessment to be edited and rescored it must be completed and submitted by at least one student.
