OnCourse allows you revert an IEP from "Implemented" status to "draft" status. This feature is available to correct small mistakes (spelling, etc.) in IEPs and is only available to your most senior SE department members.
This guide will walk you through this operation, so you can save time when creating and editing IEPs.
1. Resource Manager
The ability to un-implement an IEP is tied to a resource in the Resource Manager. Please refer to the following guide to make changes to the Resource Manager.
2. Accessing IEPs
IEPs are accessed from your Special Education tab. Your dashboard will identify which students have IEPs; a paper and pen icon will denote the student has a draft IEP, while a green check mark will denote an implemented IEP.
**NOTE: Un-implementing an IEP means it will revert to "Draft" status. Students can only have 1 draft IEP at a time. If a student has both an implemented IEP and a draft IEP, the draft must be deleted before the implemented IEP can be un-implemented.
3. Opening IEPs
Open the implemented IEP by clicking directly on the green check mark.
4. Un-Implement IEP
Click the green arrow labeled "Unimplement IEP". In the window that pops up, please enter a few notes as to why the IEP was un-implemented. These notes will be archived.
5. Unlock IEP
Once the IEP has been un-implemented, it will still be locked. In order to make many changes, you will need to unlock the draft IEP.
