For New Jersey school districts, OnCourse offers one central location for all your PARCC reporting requirements. Every student profile has a dedicated PARCC tab for their testing information and their Personal Needs Profile. Below you will learn how to enter data and and run the corresponding PARCC report.
Additionally, schools who use OnCourse Special Education will enjoy the added bonus of having all PARCC information flow automatically into student IEPs. See the “PARCC and IEPs” guide for more.
Navigate to the Student Info section.
Search for a student and open a profile.
Click the PARCC tab.
Complete the Registration section. Save all of your progress.
To learn more about any field, this blue icon will display the NJ DOE reference code for that field.
Below Registration, complete the Personal Needs Profile as needed and save your progress.
If the student is IEP or 504 classified, complete the additional Personal Needs Profile as necessary.
If the student is an English Language Learner, complete this specific Personal Needs Profile as needed.
If the student is both IEP/504 classified as well as ELL, there is a special section at the bottom of the form.
Once the tab is complete, navigate to your Reports. Select the PARCC Registration/Personal Needs Profile report.
Select your chosen export format, school year, school, and time frame. For best results, choose 7/1 of the current year as the start date.
Generate the report and review the document before submitting it to NJSMART.
