Each student in OnCourse has an entire section devoted to PARCC testing information. This section needs to be filled out in order to properly run OnCourse's PARCC reporting. This guide will show you where to find this section and how to complete it.

1. People Tab
PARCC information is found in an individual student's profile in the People tab. Once you open the profile, select the student's NJSMART tab and scroll all the way to the bottom.

2. PARCC - 1st Column
PARCC Retest - Leaving this field will produce an "N" value on the extract.
LEP Exempt from Taking LAL - Used to indicate the student is an LEP student in his/her first year of enrollment in United States schools. If this box is unchecked, it will report as "N" on the extract.
Time in School < 1 Year - Check this if the student has been in he school for less than a year. Leaving this box unchecked reports as "N" on the extract.
Exempt from Passing - Complete this field if a student is exempt from passing either the math of ELA tests. If this field is blank it will produce an "N" on the extract.
State Assessment Testing Site - The CDS code corresponding to the student’s State Assessment Testing Site.
**A blank on this form will report the student's Attending School (from Enrollment) codes on the extract.**

3. PARCC - 2nd Column
Assessment Session Location ELA/Math - The building where the assessments are administered.
Assessment Session Examiner ELA/Math - A students test administrator.
ELA/Math Test Code(s) - Code identifying which test a student is taking. These fields are left blank by default.

4. PARCC - 3rd Column
Test Format - Leaving this field blank will report an "O" on the extract.
English Learner Paper Accommodation - Whether or not a student needs English accommodations for the paper test in ELA or Math. A blank will report an "N" on the extract.
Sec 504 Paper Accommodation - Whether or not a student will receive 504 accommodations for the paper test. A blank will report an "N" on the extract.
IEP Paper Accommodation - Whether a student will receive IEP accommodations for the paper test. A blank will report an "N" on the extract.
Translation of the Math in Paper - Indicates the student needs a math test in a language other than English. A blank will report an "N" on the extract.
Reader or Singer for Paper - Indicates whether a student needs the test read aloud or signed. A blank will report a "10" on the extract.
Large Print Paper - Identifies if the student needs a test in 18 point font. A blank will report an "N" on the extract.
Braille with Tactile Graphics Paper - Indicates if a student needs a test booklet in Braille. A blank will report an "N" on the extract.

5. Reporting
Accompanying the PARCC section in a student's profile is the PARCC extract in the Reporting tab. You will find the report under the Student Information System category.
The parameters of the report requires you to set a start and end date over which you want to report information. **NOTE: The start date is typically 7/1/2014, the first day of the system's school year.**
You can export to either Excel or CSV formats.
