Primarily used by school nurses, the Health and Medical tab contains a student’s health information. This document will show you how to simultaneously open multiple student records as well as create & share posts, send emails directly from the Health and Medical tab, create and invite users to attend meeting events, and attach documents directly to student profiles.
From the Home screen, click the Student Info tab and select Health and Medical.
You have the option of searching by school or by student. Search results will display below.
Click a student’s name to open their profile; you may have up to ten student profiles open concurrently.
Within each student record there is a Notes tab.
Once within the Notes tab, there will be a green Add button. Clicking on this button will reveal a drop down menu. This menu offers four choices.
Choosing Post allows the user to post a message to the student’s record. There is also an option of emailing this post to other OnCourse users. The users include teachers, administrators, guardians, and students.
Choosing Email offers the ability to send an e-mail to staff or guardians.
Choosing Event provides the ability to schedule a meeting and invite staff or guardians to join. This alert will arrive via e-mail and allow the recipient to include it in their Outlook or Google calendars.
Choosing Document allows the user to upload files that will be saved and accessible from within a student’s medical tab.
