OnCourse can generate letters to be sent to parents for both attendance and discipline as described in two other guides:
Student Attendance: Creating Letters and Rules
Creating Discipline Letters
This guide will focus on printing, archiving, and deleting those letters once they have been created.
________________________________________________________
1. Letters Tab
Student attendance and discipline letters are generated and saved in the Letters tab. When you are in the tab, you can select the appropriate school, and select whether to display attendance or discipline letters.

2. Editing Letters
Before you print a letter, you can edit the letter as you need to. Click the pencil icon to open the letter editor and make any necessary changes.
**NOTE: You may see some strange characters, such as the ones identified in the second screenshot. These are merge fields and are how the letters are created with student's information automatically. Do not edit these. Doing so will prevent your letter from displaying information properly.

3. Print Letters
You can print multiple letters simultaneously by checking the box next to each letter you'd like to print.
Once a letter is printed, OnCourse considers it "sent," so once a letter is printed, you can access it in the "Sent Letters" tab.

4. Delete Letters
You also have the option to delete letters you no longer need or want. Keep in mind that there is no recovery process for deleted letters.
