Every student is unique and some are in need of extra help. There are a variety of programs available to fill this need. One of the categories a student may fall into is Limited English Proficiency (LEP). Schools need to track this information for any child that qualifies.
This guide demonstrates how to input start and completion dates for LEP students. Therefore, when the intervention is finished, OnCourse will automatically unenroll the student so you don’t have to worry about it.
1
Click on the Student Information tab and choose People.
2
Choose Students in the Advanced Search box and click “Run Search”.
3
Choose the appropriate student to open their student profile.
4
Click on either the “Enrollment and Program Info” section of the General tab or the NJSMART tab. You will be looking for the LEP Start Date and Completion Date fields.

6
The LEP fields can be found here, in the SID Management section of the NJSMART tab.
7
