This guide walks school/office staff through the online registration process
ACCESS
After logging into OnCourse, choose the Online Registration option from the Student Information System drop-down menu.
OVERVIEW
Upon opening the Review App you will see three columns. The Registrations column, the Sections/Actions column, and the Details column.

There are four tabs within the Registrations Column.
● Pending: in this tab you will find all registration forms that are in the process of being completed
● Submitted: in this tab you will find registration forms that have been completed
● Finalized: in this tab you will find registration forms that have been reviewed and accepted
● Rejected: in this tab you will find registration forms that have been reviewed and rejected

In the Sections/Actions Column you will see the sections within each of the registration forms. *Clicking on a registration form (located in the Registrations column) provides access to the sections within.
In the Actions drop-down menu you can choose the next action.

In the Details Column you will see the details found within each of the section tabs. *Clicking on a section tab (located in the Sections/Action column) provides access to the details within.
PROCESS
After a parent/guardian has begun the registration process their registration form will either be visible in the Pending tab or the Submitted tab.

The registration form will be visible in the Pending tab if it has been started, but not submitted. You can either leave the form untouched, reject it, or send an email to the sender.

To reject a form, highlight the appropriate form in the left column and choose the Reject option from the Actions drop-down menu.

All rejected registration forms will be moved to the Rejected tab.

To email the parent/guardian, click on the envelope next to the appropriate form.

An email addressed to the parent/guardian, will be generated. Included in the email is a link taking them directly to the pending registration form.

The registration form will be visible in the Submitted tab if it has been submitted. Here you can review and determine whether the submissions should be rejected or finalized.

To reject a form, highlight the appropriate form in the left column and choose the Reject option from the Actions drop-down menu.

All rejected registration forms will be moved to the Rejected tab.

To review a registration form to determine if it can be finalized, highlight the appropriate form in the left column. Then choose one of the sections in the middle column. The details for the highlighted section will appear in the right column.

Click on the edit icon to make changes to any of the Registration Details.

Clicking on the edit icon will produce a new window where changes can be made. When you’re finished, click Save.

After changes are made, the Revert to Original icon will be activated.

Clicking on the Revert icon will produce a new window. Here you have the option of reverting to the original text or not.

If there is a potential error in the data, the system will generate an error icon (red triangle with an exclamation point in the center).

Clicking on the section with the error icon will open the Guardian Comparison Wizard in the details column on the right.

In this example, you have the choice of keeping the record on the left, that was entered by the parent/guardian OR choosing one of the two records on the right, that already exist in the system.

After making your choice, the error icon will disappear. The information you’ve chosen will be incorporated into the Registration Details section on the right.

Once you’ve checked and approved the information in each of the sections, it’s time to finalize the registration form. Remember to highlight the desired form on the left, then choose Finalize from the Actions drop-down menu.

Choosing Finalize will produce a new window. Click on the Finalize Registration button to complete the registration form.

After finalizing the student’s registration form a new window will appear. Here you will be prompted to enroll the student. Just enter an Effective Date, Entry Code, and Tuition Type. When you’re finished, click Save & Close.
