This guide will walk you through the process of entering Pre-K students into your OnCourse system who are not yet taking classes but are receiving special education services.
1. Add Student
Add a new student. When selecting the grade level, choose "Pre-K Referred (Not yet receiving services).
2. Create Enrollment Record
Fill out all the necessary information for the student's enrollment record. You will need to select an entry date and code, as well as a program type, classification code and any other information pertinent to the student's record.
3. Add Guardians
Add any necessary guardians to the new student. Select each one individually to alter specific information.
4. View Student Record
The student records will be searchable and will come with all applicable profile tabs, yet the student will remain inactive.
