The SGO Exemplar Library is where schools and districts can create SGO templates. Teachers and administrators can then use these templates when creating their own SGOs. The Exemplar Library will reduce the time it takes teachers to create SGOs, giving them more time to teach.

1. Evaluation Manager: System Setup
The SGO Exemplar Library is available only to individuals who
have been granted the "SGO System Setup" resource in the
Resource Manager. Select your Evaluation Manager tab, then navigate to the System Setup tab. You will find the Exemplar Library in the left-hand sidebar.

2. Add Category
In the Library, you'll see each of the schools to which you are connected. Each school will have a "General" folder by default. If you'd like to add more categories, click the green (+) button underneath the appropriate school, and complete the form. In order to keep things simple, a best practice is to create folders that match your school's departments (grade level, content area, etc.)

3. Add New Exemplar
Select the category to which you'd like to add a new exemplar, then click the green (+) button labeled "New Exemplar."
• The school and category are pre-filled.
• Add a template name. This is the only additional required field.
• Add a course.
• Add a grade level.
• Add an interval. You can choose between Full Year, Semester, and Other. If you choose Other you will be able to type your own interval.
• Check the box in order to make the exemplar public.

4. Complete the SGO Template
Once you add the exemplar, you can complete as much of the template as you need to. This will depend on your school or district standards and practices.
You can add documents, standards, and even create pre-set scoring plans and student groups.

5. Copy to Other Schools
Once you have created a few exemplars in one school, you can copy them to other schools to save yourself time. Simply select the exemplar you'd like to copy (or hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard and select multiple exemplars), and click the "Copy Selected" icon.
In the new (familiar) menu, you can select which school to which you'd like to copy the exemplar and make any other changes you'd like.
**NOTE: Currently ONLY the General information of an exemplar will copy over. You will still need to add documents, standards, and scoring groups separately.
